The Fall

Two weeks ago on Friday things changed really quickly for our family when my mom fell and fractured her pelvis. She had to be transported to the local hospital where she was admitted and spent five days.  After the hospital stay she was moved to a rehab unit at the hospital .. We were told that would involve intense therapy (three hours a day).  She will come home  (to my sister's house) tomorrow.  I plan on using this blog to share things I have learned that will hopefully help people that are going through the same things with their elderly parents.
